Poem Assignment

school have some kind of program. A poem writing contest. I MADE ONE! I'm not in to all this literary stuff but prof said I'll get extra credit. a student can't have too much extra credit. haha! my decision was shaken though when I learned that the topic should be about LOVE!! of ALL the topics in the world . . . . LOVE? and get this . . . love of God is unacceptable. masyado na daw common! so long story short, I made a poem that is of NO RELATION TO MY LIFE. just wanna clear that out. so here it is, a poem about a boy's (not me) love for a girl.

There's this girl that I come to know

She makes me laugh when I feel low

Her jokes are awful but I laugh anyway

Coz that'd make her smile and thus, make my day

I tease her often but I'm not mad

And I definitely don't want to make her sad

It's just my weird way of saying "Hey! . . .

. . . I'm here. Don't forget about me, Okay?"

But what really amazes me is her zeal for God

She treasures Jesus' sacrifice; His body and blood

Her relationship with Him is so amazing

Coz she shares all the love that God is emitting

Every time I'm down and need some advice

She's always there to hear my cries

I just pray to God that she'll still be the same

The girl who is weird, funny, and insane

Then that made me stop and think for a while

Am I worthy to walk her in the aisle?

My accomplishments aren't half as good as hers

Maybe I'll just make her problems worse

I've accomplished some things, all thanks to luck

But the majority of my actions, oh how it suck!

I still need to set my main priority

And that is to submit to God's authority

Then I guess this feeling just has to wait

Until I grow and have an earthshaking faith

But for now I'll just settle for this infatuation

And make you my own secret inspiration

I'm still thinking of the title! I can't think of any! but anyway, I hope i'll get a lot of points here coz I worked my butt of for this poem! haha!

Bieber Mania? What is IT? :))

An intervew with Paramore at the Grammy's 2011:

interviewer: A lot of people have bieber mania. Do you guys suffer from bieber mania?

Hayley: We don't have that yet. Taylor isn't aware of bieber mania. *laughs*

Jeremy: He is not aware. *laughs*

Taylor: It kinda scares me!

interviewer: Why does bieber mania scare you?

Taylor: WHAT IS IT?! *laughs* it sounds intense!


HAHAHA! SOO Thankful Paramore doesn't have that raging sickness they call "bieber mania"!

Valentine’s Day with God

Valentines Day! What does it resemble that makes your heart pound in excitement? If your answer is chocolates then you have to change your perspective in Valentines Day. It is LOVE! That is why many would be thinking about hearts, flowers, chocolates, and cards because they signify love as well. There are also many ways in celebrating this special day like spending time with that special someone, making cards for your loved ones and other gestures to show people that you love them.  But in addition to the traditional celebration of love on this day, how about using Valentine's Day as a reminder of God's unfailing ultimate love for us, what He did just for us to get a shot to go to heaven, and the sacrifice that He gave just to show His love for us.

God is the best representation when it comes to love because everything that He has done in our lives, whether it is pleasing in our eyes or not, it is all for His extraordinary love for us. One of the most convicting acts of love that God has demonstrated to us is sacrificing His son for the sins of the world. God loved the world so much that He gave everything for it, from His son’s rights and privileges as the unique eternal Son of God, to the very life of His son! You can always see God’s love just by looking on the cross. “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 John 4:9-10) Another is His relentless patience to us. We don’t deserve God’s love. Everyday we commit mistakes, mistakes that represent us neglecting Him and pushing ourselves from Him. But at the end of the day, he always forgives and put us back in His loving arms. No matter how big we screw up, if we just fall on our knees and acknowledge God's only provision for our sins, He will forgive simply because He loves us so much.

In this coming Valentine’s Day, let us be reminded and be grateful that we have a God whose love is unmatched. We can still think of the little things like chocolates but let us not forget the best gift that was given to us, and that is God’s unconditional love.

Tatang's 87'th Birthday! (a bebot special)

Hey! It's my grandfather's birthday! The theme was (supposed to be) 80's rock costume but my cousins had other plans in mind. They decided that we would have a surprise presentation and that is to do BEBOT. It's from Eat Bulaga where the contestants (male) would dress like a girl and they would represent a country or something like that. Just let the pictures do the talking . . .

Performing time! I was supposed to look like a Hawaiian girl dancing pearly shells but I covered myself with whatever's on my body.

After performing, we took pictures . . . 

AWARDING! and the winner is . . . . 

ME! joke. consolation prize lang!

After that, we dressed back. back to reality! whew!

When we're almost done, me and tatang performed a special number! He sang "ati kupung sing sing" (hope I got that right) and I played the guitar! Old songs ROCK! \m/

so that was my EXTREMELY weird but AWESOME experience.
